The Ohio Genealogical Society is the largest state
genealogical society in the nation. There are 101 chapters in
Ohio and across the nation. The society's library at 34 Sturges
Ave., Mansfield, OH, has 15,000 volumes, 1,500 reels of
microfilm, 50 drawers of vertical files, 300,000 ancestor cards,
2,000 Bible records and numerous manuscript files. A chapter
directory lists publications for sale from each chapter.
