LETART Quite a number of our citizens and Odd Fellows attended the burial of Benjamin Weaver Friday at the lower cemetery. Miss Minnie Lloyd commenced her school at Chester last Monday. Edgar Ervin also commenced his school at East Letart the same day. Miss Balie Bibbee will commence her school next Monday at Bradbury, and Miss Josie Ervin will call her scholars promptly at nine o'clock, by the ringing of the bell, next Monday at Highland. The readers of the Tribune Telegraph can see that Letart, although a small place, turns out quite a number of efficient teachers. We also have a number more of good teachers who will commence their schools later. John Frecker and Charley Radford spent Sunday with their friend, Edgar Ervin. Misses Ada Bradford, of Middleport, and Edna Jones, of Syracuse, spent Sunday with Miss Adrian Roberts. Misses Ethel and Minnie McDade entertained quite a number of their friends Tuesday evening in honor of the Misses Ogden and Holliday, who returned to their homes last Thursday. F.E. Bolton passed through here Sunday. Rev. M.V.B. Euans will lecture in the M.E. Church Friday evening next on the subject, "Courtship and Marriage." Let everyone attend. Transcribed by Susan Kuhl.
