Wilson Shannon Governor of the State of Ohio,  To all to whom these presents
shall come, Greetings.  Know Ye, that in consideration of the sum of Twenty
four dollars and eight cents paid by John Anderson to the treasurer of Meigs
County for the purchase of the tract of land here in described, lying and
being within the County of Meigs appropriated by an act of congress for the
support of Religion, which tract of land has been fully paid for as appears
by a final certificate of the auditor of said County particularly describing
said tract, and the several sums which have been paid thereon to me presented
according to an act to provide for the sale of section twenty nine, granted
by Congress for the support of Religion within the Ohio Company purchase
passed March 3, 1834.  Therefore in pursuance of said act there is granted by
the State of Ohio unto the said John Anderson afore said and to his heirs and
assigns forever the northwest quarter of section no. Twenty-nine in Township
no. six of Range no. Fourteen within said district containing one hundred and
sixty acres of land more or less.  To have and to hold the said one hundred
and sixty acres of land with the appurtenances thereof unto the said John
Anderson, and his hears and assigns forever.

In witness where of the said Wilson Shannon, Governor of the State of Ohio,
hath caused the great seal of the State to be here unto affixed and sign the
same with his hand at Columbus the fifteenth day of March in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty-nine.
