James Graham } Know all men by these presents that I James Graham of Rutland To} } Township in the County of Meigs and State of Ohio do for and in Joseph Black } consideration of sixty dollars paid to me by Joseph Black of said Rutland the receipt of which I do hereby acknowledge have given, granted, bargained and sold and do by these presents give, grant, bargain, and sell unto the said Joseph Black, his heirs and assigns forever an certain tract or parcel of land situated in said Rutland and bounded as follows to wit, beginning at a stake nine chains and fifty links from the North west corner of Fraction No. two, Town six, Range 14, thence South eleven chains thirty seven links to a take thence east thirty degrees North six chains forty two links to a stake thence North thirty degrees west nine chains ninety links to the place of beginning containing three acres and eight poles also one other piece or parcel of land situate on Fraction Numbered six in said Rutland adjoining the above described piece and bounded as follows, beginning at the South corner of land lately owned by one to Hamilton Black, thence Southerly by the East line of Thomas Everton's land to the North line of land now owned and possessed by the heirs of James Muncie, deceased, thence East nine chains and forty links, thence South 28 degrees East then chains and forty six links, thence South fifty one degrees East six chains Eighty one links thence South five degrees W. six chains and ninety links, Thence South fifteen degrees East three chains and fifty links to east and west line of the said Fraction numbered six, thence East nine chains to the original corner thence North forty one chains and ninety one links to the South East corner of said Hamilton Black's land, Thence west to the place of beginning containing about sixty acres and a half. To have and to hold the above described pieces or parcels of land together with all the privileges and appurtenances hereunto belonging to him the said Joseph Black, his heirs and assigns forever and I the said James Graham do for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators covenant with him the said Joseph Black, his heirs and assigns forever that I am lawfully seized in fee of the premises that they are free of all incumbrances that I have good right and legal authority to all and convey all and every tract or parcel of the within described premises in manner aforesaid and that I will and my heirs, executors and administrators shall warrant and defend this same to him the said Joseph Black, his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims and demands of all persons_________ ___________ thereof have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirty first day of March in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and twenty nine.
