Charles Graham } Know all men by these presents that I Charles Grayum of the To } County of Meigs and State of Ohio for and in consideration of John S. White } two hundred dollars to me in hand paid by John S. White of the County and State aforesaid the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge and myself therewith satisfied and contented and have given, granted, bargained, sold, aliened and conveyed and do by these presents absolutely give, grant, alien and convey and confirm unto himself the said John S. White, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns forever a certain part or lot of land lying and being situated in Meigs county and in Township one of Range twelve and a part of the fifth division or one hundred acre lot No. two hundred and fifty seven acres butted and bounded as follows Lot No. 10 beginning at a stake at the north west corner thence East 164 feet thence South 77 feet thence west 165 feet thence North 77 feet to the place of beginning be the same more or less Lot No. 11 beginning at a stake at the north west corner thence East 148 feet and 6 inches thence south 77 feet thence West 148 feet and 6 inches thence north 77 feet to the place of beginning be the same more or less near Letart Falls in Letart Township and in the Ohio Company's purchase and of lands drawn in the name of Christopher Marshall as will appear from the records of the said Ohio Company of lands. To have and to hold the aforesaid premises with the appurtenances unto him the said John S. White, his heirs, executors and assigns forever with all and singular the privileges, rights and appurtenances thereunto belonging _________ I the said Charles Graham do covenant to and with the said John S. White that I have good right and authority to sell and convey the same and furthermore I the said Charles Grayum do hereby bind myself, my heirs, executors and assigns to warrant and forever defend the ditto of said lots or tracts of land unto him the said John S. White, his heirs, executors or assigns against the claims or claim of all persons whatsoever. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 2nd day of Jan 1832. Grayum (seal) State of Ohio } Personally appeared before me the subscriber one of the Meigs County } Justice of the Peace within and for the said County Charles Grayum the signer and sealer of the foregoing deed of conveyance who acknowledged the executing of the same to be his voluntary act and deed also came Martha Grayum wife of said Charles Grayum who after being examined separate and apart from her husband acknowledged the signing and sealing of the forgoing deed of conveyance to be her voluntary act and deed and that she executed the same without the _____ or persuasion of her husband and freely relinquishes her right of dower to the same and is desirous that the same may be admitted to record taken and acknowledged before me this the second day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three.
