Ebenezer T. Grant } Know all men by these presents that I Ebenezer T. Grant of
     To           } Salisbury Township, Meigs County, Ohio and Sally P. Grant his
Edward Hysell     } wife for and in consideration of the sum of thirty three
                    dollars and thirty three cents lawful money of the United
States to him in hand well and truly paid by Edward Hysell of said Township,
County and State the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged that the granted,
bargained, sold, aliened, released, conveyed and confirmed and by these presents
doth grant, bargain, sell, alien, release, convey and confirm unto the said Edward
Hysell, his heirs and assigns forever all that part of land situated in Meigs
County Salisbury Township, Ohio being the East half of the West half of the one
hundred acre lot number three hundred and six No. 306 in Section No. twenty four
and thirty in Town number one Range thirteen of the Ohio Company purchase
containing to survey twenty five acres be the same more or less all our estate
right, title, interest, claim and demand both in law and equity of him the said
Ebenezer T. Grant of in and to the said premises and every part thereof together
with all and singular the privileges and appurtenances to the same belonging or
otherwise appertaining and the rents, losses, and profits thereof. To have and to
hold the premises hereby bargained and sold or meant or intended so to be with the
appurtenances to the only proper use and behoof of the said Edward Hysell, his
heirs and assigns forever. And the said Ebenezer T. Grant for his heirs, executors
and administrators doth covenant promise and agree to and with the said Edward
Hysell, his heirs will warrant and defend the  aforesaid premises with the
appurtenances and every part and have thereof unto the said Edward Hysell, his
heirs or assigns against all persons claiming or to claim by or from or under him
his heirs or assigns forever or by from or under any person or persons whomsoever.
In testimony whereof the said Ebenezer T. Grant together with Sally P. Grant his
wife who hereby forever relinquishes all her right, title, claim of dower and
right of dower in to the premises have hereunto set our hands and seals this the
____ day of ____ in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty
four.

The State of Ohio, Meigs County, Salisbury Township. Before me John Smith Justice
of the Peace within and for said County Personally appeared Ebenezer T. Grant
together with his wife the above named grantor to me personally known doth
acknowledge the above deed of conveyance to be his and her voluntary act and deed
for the uses and purposes therein contained and the said Sally P. Grant wife of
the said Ebenezer T. Grant being examined separate from her husband and the
contents of said deed being made known unto her when that she voluntarily and of
her own free will and accent without any fear of her husband did an now doth
acknowledge the signing and sealing hereof and that she still is satisfied
therewith In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the 6th
day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty four.

Meigs County  } certify the foregoing to be a true copy of the original deed.
