Nimrod Hysel   } Know all men by these presents that I Nimrod Hysel of Meigs
     to        } County and State of Ohio for and in consideration of the sum of
Saml Everett & } thirty dollars to me in hand paid the receipt whereof I do
Wm. Kerr       } acknowledge myself fully satisfied and contented therewith have
                 this day bargained, granted and sold and by these presents do
bargain, grant, and sell unto Samuel Everett and William Kerr of the County and
State aforesaid a certain piece or parcel of land situate lying and being in the
thirteenth range in the Ohio Company's purchase and distinguished on the record
of the Ohio Company's purchase by No. three hundred and twenty two, being part of
a lot of one hundred acres purchased by said Nimrod Hysell from Return J.  Meigs,
Esq. of Marietta. Beginning on the fourth side of Leading creek and on the South
side of the aforesaid lot to be three rods in width on a North and South line and
______ the aforesaid width to the west ends of the aforesaid lot. To have, hold,
possess and enjoy the aforesaid piece or parcel of land to them the said Samuel
Everett and William Kerr, their heirs, executors, administrators or assigns and I
the said Nimrod Hysell do bind myself, my heirs and executors and each of them to
warrant and defend the aforesaid premises from all persons whomsoever laying
claim thereto. And the said Nimrod with that he is the only true and lawful owner
to and until the present bargain and sale hereof and that he hath good right and
full power to sell and dispose of the same and doth hereby secure the said
premises to them the said Samuel Everett and William Kerr by a general warrantee
in witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal the twelfth day of August in
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nineteen.

The State of Ohio    } Before me A. Murray one of the Justices of the Peace for
Meigs County         } Meigs County personally came Nimrod Hysel and acknowledged
                       the within instrument to be his own voluntary act and deed
for the purposes therein contained and requests the same may be admitted on
