Nimrod Hysel & us } Know all by these presents that we Nimrod Hysel and
     To           } Elizabeth his wife, of Salisbury Township, State of
Saml Everett and  } Ohio for and in consideration of two hundred and fifty
William Kerr      } dollars paid to the said Nimrod Hysel the receipt
                    whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted, bargained and
sold unto Samuel Everett and William Kerr of the Township and State aforesaid a
certain piece or parcel of land lying on Leading Creek in the County of Meigs
being a part of Lot No. three hundred and twenty two being the fifth division lot
so called drawn in the name of John Doughty in the division draft of the Ohio
Company's land bounded as follows Beginning eighteen rods due west from the North
east corner of the before mentioned lot at the center of the East fork of Leading
creek, thence west with the line of said lot to the center of the main fork of
Leading creek, thence down the center of said creek to the south line of said lot,
thence east on said line to the place of beginning. To have and to hold the
aforesaid premises to them Samuel Everett and William Kerr, their heirs and
assigns forever in fee simple. And I the said Nimrod Hysel for myself, my heirs,
executors and administrators do covenant with the said Everett and Kerr, their
heirs and assigns that I will forever warrant and defend the same tract of land
against lawful claims of all persons whosoever. In testimony whereof we have
hereunto set our hands and seals this fifth day of August AD one thousand eight
hundred and nineteen.

The State of Ohio            } Before me A. Murray one of the acting Justice of
Meigs County                 } the Peace for the county aforesaid personally
                               appeared Nimrod Hysel and Elizabeth Hysel his
wife - she being examined separately and apart from her husband they acknowledged
the within deed to be their free and voluntary act for the purposes therein
contained and desire that the same may be admitted on record. Taken acknowledged
before me this sixth day of August one thousand eight hundred and nineteen.                                        Arch Murray, Justice Peace
