Nimrod Hysel       } Know all persons by these presents that I Nimrod Hysel of
      To           } Meigs County, Ohio, for and in consideration of the sum of
James W. Nicholson } three hundred dollars already received of James W.
                     Nicholson of Fayette Co. Penna, have sold, aliened, and
conveyed and confirmed and do hereby absolutely sell, alien, and convey and
confirm to him the said James W. Nicholson, his heirs and assigns a certain lot
of land, situate in section No. three, township No. six, Range number fourteen
in the Ohio Company Purchase (so called) and drawn in the name of John Lyon
which lot of one hundred acres is bounded as follows viz Beginning at the South
east corner of said section number three thence north eighty rods, thence west
two hundred rods, parallel with section line, thence south eighty rods, thence
east on section line two hundred rods to the place of beginning and which has
been sold to him the said Nimrod Hysel and conveyed by a general
warranty deed from the said James & Nancy. To have and to hold the premises by
these presents granted and assigned unto him the said James V.  Nicholson, his
heirs and assigns, and for his and their only proper use and behoof forever. In
witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this nineteenth day of
January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty six.

Meigs County       } ss Before me Abel Larkin, Associate Judge in and for the
                     County aforesaid personally came Nimrod Hysel the signer
of the above deed and acknowledged the same to be his voluntary free act and
deed. Acknowledged in Rutland this 19th January 1826.
