Nimrod Hysell } Know all men by these presents that I Nimrod Hysell to } of Salisbury in Gallia County and State of Ohio do David Thomas } for and in consideration of thirty seven truly paid to me in hand before the signing and the ensealing hereof by David Thomasof Salisbury in Gallia County and State of Ohio the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge myself fully satisfied and contented therewith, I have bargained and sold and do alien convey and confirm unto the said David Thomas his heirs and assigns forever one certain tract or parcel of land lying in Salisbury containing about thirty seven acres, it is part of Lot No. three hundred and twenty two in the first fractional Township in the thirteenth Range in the Ohio Companys purchase, it is all that part of the Lot that lays on the south west side of the main branch of Leading Creek--Excepting a strip three rods wide on the south side which enters from the Creek to the west line of the Lot. To have and to hold the same granted bargained premises be __________ with the privileges and appurtenances thereof to him the said David Thomas his heirs and assigns forever to his and their proper use and behoof in fee simple and I the said Nimrod Hisle for myself, my heirs, my Executors and administrators that covenant with the said David Thomas his heirs, his Executors and administrators that I am lawfully seized in fee of the premises that they are free from all incumbrances and that I will warrant and defend the same against the lawful claims of any person. In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal in Salisbury this fifteenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twelve.
