Leonard Hysell  } Know all men by these presents that I Leonard Hysell of Rutland,
      To        } Meigs County, Ohio do for and in consideration of the sum of
James E. Phelps } twenty five dollars paid to me in hand by James E. Phelps of
                  Cheshire Township, County and State aforesaid the receipt I do
hereby acknowledged myself to be fully satisfied and content therewith I have sold
and in these presents do alien, convey and confirm unto the said James E. Phelps a
certain tract or parcel of land in Salisbury aforesaid containing _____ acres and
bounded as follows to wit beginning at the North East corner of Lot Number three
hundred and twenty thence West on the line of said lot to the corner of a lot
belonging to David Thomas thence Southwardly on the line of said Thomas to the
bank of the creek then up the meanders thereof to the East line of said lot thence
North to the place of beginning. To have and to hold the aforesaid parcel of land
with all the privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging to him the said
James E. Phelps, his heirs and assigns as an estate of inheritance in fee simple
forever and I the said Leonard Hysell for myself, my heirs, executors, and
administrators do covenant with the said James E. Phelps, his heirs, executors and
administrators that I am lawfully seized of the premises and that they are free
from all incumbrances and I will covenant and defend the same against the legal
claims of any person forever in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand. In
witness where I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twentieth day of March AD
one thousand eight hundred and nineteen.

The State of Ohio } December 8th AD 1834. Before me the subscriber and acting
Meigs County ss   } Justice of the Peace of said County personally appeared
                    Leonard Hysell known to me to be the signer and sealer of the
foregoing deed of conveyance and acknowledged the same to be his free voluntary
act and deed.

Meigs County  } I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of the original
