Leonard Hysell } To all persons to whom these presents shall come greeting Know
     To        } ye that I Leonard Hysell of the Township of Rutland, County of
John C. Hysell } Meigs and State of Ohio for and in consideration of the sum of
                 three hundred and fifty dollars to me in hand paid by John C.
Hysell of the Township of Salisbury, County and state aforesaid the receipt
whereof I do hereby acknowledge have given, granted, bargained, sold and
conveyed and by these presents do give, bargain, grant, sell and convey unto
him the said John C. Hysell, his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or
parcel of land situate and being in the said Township of Rutland being a part
of Section number two in the sixth township and fourteenth range in the Ohio
Company's purchase bounded as follows beginning at the South East corner of
said lot hence running west one hundred and two and one third poles thence
North twenty seven Poles and eighteen links thence West fifty seven poles and
two thirds of a pole thence North seventy three poles lacking eighteen links
thence East one hundred and sixty poles thence South one hundred poles to the
place of beginning containing ninety acres of land.  To have and to hold the
above demised premises with all the real estate and appurtenances thereunto
belonging to him the said John C. Hysell, his heirs and assigns forever and I
the said Leonard Hysell, my heirs, executors, and administrators do covenant to
and with the said John C. Hysell, his heirs and assigns that I am lawfully
seized in fee of the premises free from all incumbrances that I have good right
to sell and convey and will to them warrant and defend the same against the
lawful claims of all persons whatsoever. In testimony whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and seal this second day of March Anno Domini one thousand and
eight hundred and thirty five. Signed and sealed in presence of us

Know all persons by these presents that I Lorana Hysell wife of the within
Leonard Hysell for and in consideration of the aforesaid sum of three hundred
and fifty dollars paid my said husband by the within named John C. Hysell as
aforesaid have and by these presents do fully freely and clearly relinquish and
give up and quit claim forever unto the said John C. Hysell, his heirs and
assigns all my right, title, interest and claims of on and to the within
described premises as my thirds or right of dower in testimony of which I
hereunto set my hand and seal this fourth day of March Anno Domini one
thousand eight hundred and thirty five. signed and sealed in presence of us

The State of Ohio } Personally appeared before me the subscriber an acting
Meigs County      } Justice of the Peace of Rutland Township in said County,
                    Leonard Hysell and Lorana Hysell his wife known to me from
personal knowledge to be the signers and sealers of the foregoing deed of
conveyance and the said Leonard Hysell acknowledged the same to be his free
voluntary act and deed for the purpose therein expressed and the said Lorana
being by me examined separate from her said husband after making known to her
the contents she declared she voluntarily signed, sealed and acknowledged the
same and that she is still satisfied therewith in testimony of which I have
hereunto set my hand and seal this fifth day of March AD 1835.
