John Niswonger } Know all men by these presents that we John Niswonger and
      to       } Margaret Niswonger, (wife of the said John) both of Salisbury
Nimrod Hysell  } in the County of Gallia and State of Ohio for and in
                 consideration of Eighty Dollars to us in hand well and truly
paid by Nimrod Hysell of said Township County and State the receipt whereof we
do hereby acknowledge and ourselves therewith contented do bargain, sell,
convey, alien and assign to the said Nimrod Hysell, his heirs, and assigns a
certain tract or parcel of land lying in the County of Gallia and containing
forty acres, being the Easterly part of two fifth division lots number three
hundred and twenty and three hundred and twenty one, the same lots being part of
the Ohio Companys Land which tract of land is bounded and butted as follows to
wit: Beginning near the east bank of the right hand fork of Leading Creek,
sixteen rods west of south east corner of Lot number two hundred and twenty one,
thence west one hundred and twelve rods, thence North seventy two rods five
links thence East Eighty one rods to East Bank of the above named Creek, thence
southerly with the meanders of said Bank to the place of beginning, the same
containing forty acres--To have and To hold the aforesaid forty acres of land
with all the appurtances thereof to him the said Nimrod Hysel, his heirs and
assigns as an estate of inheritance in fee simple forever and we the said
Niswonger and wife do for ourselves, our heirs, Executors and administrators
covenant to and with the said Nimrod Hysell, heirs and executors and
administrators that at and until the ensealing of these premises we are the true
and sole owners of the premises that we are fully authorized to convey the same
in manner and form as above written, and furthermore that we shall warrant and
defend the same to him the said Nimrod Hisle, his heirs and assigns against the
lawful claims of all people forever.

In testimony whereof we have hereto set our hands signatures and seals at the
mouth of Leading Creek in Salsisbury Township County of Gallia this nineteenth
day of April A.D. one thousand eight hundred and eight.

Gallia County ss Salisbury April 19th 1818--Personally appeared John Niswonger
and Margaret Niswonger his wife, signers and sealers of the above instrument and
acknowledged the same to be their voluntary act and deed before me, Brewster
