Charles Rickerson } This indenture made and entered into the 1st day of August To } 1831 by and between Charles Rickerson of Meigs County and Thos & Relief Everton } State of Ohio on the one part and Thomas and Relief Everton of the Town, County and State aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the said C. Rickerson for the consideration hereinafter mentioned hath demise, grant, and to farm let unto the said Thomas and Relief Everton the following described premises viz beginning as a east corner of James Grayham survey where an ash 12 inches diameter bears 82.W.41 a beach 9 inches diameter bears 37.E.21 lks thence W 2 chains 25 lks to a post whereas a blue ash 10 inc diam bears 58 West 28 lks to white walnut 16 in diameter bears S.41.W.42 W. to beach 20 in diam bears N.60.E.35. links thence 2 chains 22 lks to a post where a beach 10 in d. S.5.W.20 lks do 12 dia bears N.51.E.36. lks thence N.15 chains and 66 lks to a post standing on the east and west line of Fraction 6th thence W. ash 20 in diam bears S.32.W.70. lks to a sugar tree 12 in diam bears North 32 West 32 lks, thence W. 15 chains and 10 lks chassing(?) the N.W. corner of Fraction No.6. 50 lks to the County road, thence following the meanderings of the said road until it crosses N. lines of Wm Parkers land thence E along Parkers N. line 38 rods to the Fraction line thence S. along said Fraction line 54 rods to a post corner of James Muralds survey thence with the line of said Muralds survey on said Meralds beginning corner thence with the line of James Graham survey to the place of beginning to have and to hold the above described premises with their appurtenances while both or either of them shall live and the said Thomas and Relief Everton doth agree on their part to pay to said C. Rickerson one cent per year if called for said Charles Rickerson doth agree on his part to tend the above described premises in a ____ workmanlike manner and to deliver to said Thomas and Relief Everton one half of all that is raised thereon and of the net proceeds of Farm and stock said C. Rickerson doth reserve to himself of the North half of the House the South half shall be for the said Thomas and Relief Everton use they are also to have the use of all or any part of the property nor on or that may be on and belong to the place as long as either live except when it shall be in use on said premises said Rickerson doth agree that if said Thomas and Relief Everton should become helpless or anyway unable to manage then business they shall be comfortably taken care of as long as they live said Thomas and Relief doth agree that at their death all his property shall be his Charles Rickerson his household ________ excepted shall to said C.
