POWER OF ATTORNEY -- Samuel S. Russell and others --

Know all men by these presents that whereas we Samuel S. Russell and Eunice
Russell of the town of Guilford, County of New Haven and State of Connecticut and
Guernsey Bates, Anne Bates, and Damaris Camp of the Town of Durham, County of
Middlesex and State of Connecticut are possessed by the demise of our Father
Elanthan Camp, late of Durham in the County of Middlesex and State of Connecticut
as will appear by the will of said Elnathan decd of an undivided share of certain
lands situate in the State of Ohio in the Ohio Company's Purchase so called.  Now
know ye, that we the said Saml S. Russell, Eunice Russell, Guernsey Bates, Anne
Bates and Damaris Camp have made, constituted and appointed and by these presents
do make, constitute and appoint our Brother Denis Camp our true and lawful
attorney for us and in our name to sell or dispose of our share of said lands and
to convey the same absolutely in fee simple for such sum of money as he shall
think fair and also for us and in our name to seal, execute and deliver all
proper deeds, conveyances, bargains and sales, for the absolute sale and disposal
of the same or any part thereof with such clauses, covenants and agreements as
our said attorney shall think ??? and expedient hereby ratifying and confirming
all such deeds, bargains and sales which shall act? any time hereafter be reached
and executed by our said attorney touching or concerning the premises.  In
witness we have hereunto set our hands and seals at Durham this 17th day of May
AD 1809.
