William Skinner } Know all men by these presents that we William Skinner and To } Levi Barber both of Marietta and State of Ohio in William Murray } consideration of one hundred and thirty dollars to us paid by William Murray of Meigs County and State aforesaid the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge do by these presents give, grant, bargain, sell, and convey unto the said William Murray, his heirs and assigns a certain parcel of land situate in said county of Meigs and described as follows viz the North quarter of Section Number thirty four (34) in Township No. two (2) of Range No. thirteen (13) drawn in the name of Amos Whitmore and for a more particular description reference is hereby made to the plans and records of the Ohio Company said quarter section containing one hundred and sixty acres more or less together with all the right, title, interest, property, claim and demand whatever which the said William Skinner and Levi Barber acquired obtained had or of right ought to have by law to the aforesaid quarter section from the deed of Robert R. Green, Sheriff of the county of Washington aforesaid said deed being made to the said William Skinner and Levi Barber and bearing date the seventh day of August eighteen hundred and thirty one and to which deed reference is hereby made together with all the privileges and appurtenances to the said premises in any wise appertaining and belonging. To have and to hold the aforegranted premises to the said William Murray, his heirs and assigns forever in as full and ample a manner and form and in all aspects as we the said William Skinner and Levi Barber made or of right ought to have in and to the said quarter section from the aforesaid deed of said Robert R. Green, Sheriff as aforesaid so that _____ we the said William Skinner and Levi Barber nor our heirs nor any other person claiming under or means have claim or to any part or parcel thereof forever. In testimony whereof we the said William Skinner and Levi Barber have hereunto set our hands and seals this twenty ninth day of November in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and thirty one. The above named William Skinner Meigs County } and Levi Barber, the signers and sealers of the above instrument personally appeared and acknowledged the same to be their free voluntary act and deed before me and I further certify that from personal knowledge I am satisfied that the persons making this acknowledgment are the same William Skinner and Levi Barber mentioned in the above instrument.
