Benjamin Stout } This indenture made this Twenty sixth day of May in the year of
     To        } our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty four between
William Hysell } Benjamin Stout of Rutland Township, Meigs County and State of
                 Ohio of the first part and William Hysell of Salisbury County
and State aforesaid of the second part witnesseth that the party of the first
part for and in consideration of fifty dollars to him in hand paid at and before
the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged hath granted, bargained, and sold, released and quit claimed and by
these presents doth grant, bargain, sell, release and forever quit all claim
right, title, and interest in and to the following described part on lot of land
unto the party of the second part (that) it being a part of hundred acre lot
number three hundred and twenty (320) and three hundred and twenty one (321) in
Range thirteen (13) and town number one (1) of the Ohio Company's purchase
________ to convey all my rights and title in and to said lot of land which was
sold to me by the auditor of Meigs County for taxes due on the same from the
heirs of deceased Thomas to the State of Ohio said supposed to contain about
fifty acres more or less together with all and singular the tenements and
appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining with the rent issues
and profits thereof relinquishing all claim that the party of the first hath
wither in law or equity of in and to the above bargained premises to have and to
hold the said lot or tract of land and premises above described to the said
Wm Hysell of the second part his heirs and assigns forever in witness whereof
the said Benjamin Stout hath hereunto set his hand and has the day and year
within written.

State of Ohio } On the 26th day of May 1834 the above named Benjamin Stout
Meigs County  } personally appeared before me one of the Justices of Peace in and
                for said County and acknowledged the within instrument to be his
free act and deed given under my hand and seal date above written.
