Naham Ward } To all people to whom these presents shall come greeting Know ye that
    To     } I Naham Ward of Marietta in the County of Washington and State of
John Bing  } Ohio for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and sixty
             dollars to me in hand before the ensealing hereof well and truly paid
by John Bing of Rutland in the County of Meigs and State of Ohio the receipt
whereof I do hereby acknowledge and myself therewith fully satisfied and contented
have given, granted, bargained, sold, aliened, conveyed, and confirmed and by
these presents do freely, fully and absolutely give, grant, bargain, sell, alien,
convey and confirm unto him the said John Bing, his heirs and assigns forever all
and singular one hundred and seven of land on the South side of the South East
quarter the North and South lines to be parallel of Section Numbered thirty two
(32) in Township Number six (6) of the fourteenth Range of the Ohio Company and
for a more particular description of said tract land and the boundaries reference
is had to the books and plans of the Ohio Company. To have and to hold either said
granted and bargained premises with all the appurtenances, privileges and
commodities to the same in any wise belonging to him the said John Bing, his heirs
and assigns forever to his and their only proper use benefit and behoof forever
and I the said Naham Ward for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators do
covenant to and with the said John Bing, his heirs and assigns that before the
ensealing hereof I am the true sole and lawful owner of the above bargained
premises and am lawfully seized and possessed of the same in my own proper right
as a good perfect and absolute estate of inheritance in fee simple and that I have
full power and authority to sell and convey the said bargained premises in manner
as aforesaid and furthermore do covenant and engage the above demised premises to
him the said John Bing, his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims or demands
of any person or persons whomsoever forever hereafter to warrant, secure and
defend by these presents.  In witness whereof we the said Nahum Ward and Sarah
Catherine, his wife in token of her relinquishment of dower in the premises have
hereunto set our hands and seals this 11th of September in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and thirty two signed sealed and delivered in presence
of us

State of Ohio     } Marietta 12th September ANNO DOMINI 1832 the above named 
Washington County } Nahum Ward and Sarah Catharine his wife (being examined
                    separate) the signers and sealer of the above instrument
appeared and acknowledged the same to be their free voluntary act and deed before
me and both to me well known. Given under my hand
