Eli Wright    } To all to whom these presents shall come Greeting Be it known that
    To        } I Eli Wright of Salisbury, Meigs County and State of Ohio for and
Stephen Ralph } in consideration of the sum of Ninety Dollars to me paid before
                the ensealing and delivery of these presents by Stephen Ralph of
said Salisbury in the County and State aforesaid the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged have granted, bargained, and sold and by these presents do grant,
bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto him the said Stephen Ralph, his heirs an
assigns the West half of the following described part of lot of land in said
Salisbury that is to say the Fraction of two hundred sixty two acre lot numbered
twenty four (24) in sections numbered twenty seven and twenty eight (Nos. 27 & 28)
in Town number two of Range number thirteen (13) in the Ohio Company's purchase
in the State of Ohio which said lot was originally drawn in the division of said
Ohio Company's lands to the ________ the name of Joseph Swavy from and for a
further description of said lot reference may be had to the books and surveys of
the said Ohio Company together with all and singular the privileges and
appurtenances to the said west half and of the aforesaid fraction of land in any
wise belonging.  To have and to hold the above described granted and bargained
premises with the appurtenances unto him the said Stephen Ralph, his heirs and
assigns to his and their only proper use, benefit and behoof forever and I the
said Eli Wright do by these presents for myself and my heirs covenant and agree
to and with the said Stephen Ralph, his heirs and assigns the West half of the
above described fraction of land unto him the said Stephen Ralph, his heirs and
assigns to warrant and defend against all persons lawfully claiming or to claim
the same or any part or parcel thereof I Abigail Wright wife of the said Eli
Wright do by these presents voluntarily relinquish, give up and forever quit
claim unto him the said Stephen Ralph, hi heirs and assigns all my right and
title to dower or thirds in and to the premises above described and granted by my
said husband in testimony whereof we hereunto set our hands and seals this
eighteenth day of September AD one thousand and eight hundred and thirty three in
presence of

The State of Ohio } Personally appeared before me the subscribed acting Justice
Meigs County      } of the Peace of Salisbury Township in said County Eli Wright
                    and his wife known to me to be the signers and sealers of the
foregoing deed of conveyance as they expressed thereafter to be and the said Eli
Wright acknowledged the signing and sealing of the foregoing deed to be his
voluntary act and deed for the purposes there expressed and the said his wife
being by me examined apart from her said husband acknowledged that she
voluntarily signed the foregoing deed and that she is still satisfied with the
same. In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this 18th day of
September AD 1833.
