While in an antique shop in Huntington West Virginia in 1994, we found a very nice, small photo album which we would like to get into the hands of a descendant of the families. The album contains eleven tin types and several other old photos with names and dates. This album was sold at the estate sale of Sarah Parr on 8 Aug. 1941 at Tupper Plains, Meigs Co., Ohio.
Most of the pictures were from Ohio and Indiana. Names include: Thomas and Lois Heulin (Haulice) (Hanlin): F.S. Wolfe married 29 Aug 1868: Eliza Bryson Hixson: Polly (Wilkins) Carter 1805-1873, married Geo. Carter: George Washington Carter 1835-1890: Leona (Hamlin) Cunningham.
We will happily send to any recognized family member for the $30.00 we paid for the album.
