Hutton Sunday, December 19 Wm McIntyre J M Cawhorn Henry J Wyllis John Lindsay Probate Court -- The State of Ohio, Meigs Co., as: Final settlement of accounts -- Notice is hereby given that the accounts of the following persons have been filed in the Probate Court, in and for said County for settlement: David Painter, Adm'r of David Shenefield; John Craig, Adm'r of John Brown, dec'd; Daniel Mauck, Guard. of Louisa J. Sigler; C: F. Thomas, Adm'r Jeremiah M. Thomson. Said account will be heard and settled on Wednesday, the 12th day of January next. Arthur Merrill, Probate Judge Sheriff's Sale By virtue of an order of sale to me directed from the Court of Common Pleas of Meigs County, I will offer for sale at the door of the Court-House in Pomeroy, at 10 o'clock A.M., on the 22nd day of January, 1859, the following described real estate, to wit: Forty acres in Range 11, Town 3, Section 26, being in the north-west quarter of the north-east quarter of said section, being the place lately owned by John Perry, deceased, situated and lying in said county of Meigs, and sold as the property of Tempel Harper at the suit of Isabella Parsons, et al and sold subject to window's dower. Appraised at $80.00 Sheriff's Sale By virtue of an order of sale to me directed from the Court of Common Pleas of Meigs County, I will offer for sale at the door of the Court-House in Pomeroy, at 11 o'clock A.M., on the 22nd day of January, 1859, the following described real estate, to-wit: The one undivided half part of all that part of one hundred acre lot No. 372, in Section No.4, Township No. 5, Range 12, which lies in the county of Gallia and State of Ohio; and the undivided half part of all of one hundred acre lot no. 376, in Sections No. 3, 4, 33 and 34, in Townships No. 1 and 5 and in Range No. 13 and 14, except about seven or eight acres, heretofore conveyed by Thomas D. Sargent and Joseph J. Coombs to the Leadington Salt Company and sold as the property of Thomas D. Sargent at the suit of Melzar Nye, Jr. Terms of sale, cash. Appraised at $56.66 2/3 per acre. Sheriff's Sale By virtue of an order of sale to me directed from the Court of Common Pleas, I will offer for sale at the door of the Court-House in Pomeroy, at 11 o'clock A.M., on the 22nd day of January, 1858, the following described real estate, to-wit: Beginning 12 rods east from the north-west corner of Section No. 17; thence south about 85 rods; thence east one-half rod; thence south 13 rods to John Page's line; thence east 17 degrees north to a certain beach tree about 79 1/2 rods; thence east about 67 rods to the center line, running north and south through said section 17; thence north about 73 rods to the place beginning, containing 78 1/2 acres in Town 7, Range ?4 [it may be 34 but I am not sure] in the Ohio Company's Purchase, and sold as the property of George Downing and Peter Alkire, at the suit of Slathower, Mathews & Co. Appraised at $1530.60. J. V. Smith, S.M.C. NOTICE Ira Barnes of the State of California, will take notice that Isaac Train of Meigs County, Ohio, did, on the 16th day of November, 1858 file his petition in the Court of Common Pleas, within and for the county of Meigs and State of Ohio, set ......
