Is it reasonable to guess that my KOBLENTZ ancestors may have come from in or near the city of Koblenz? Or is that too simplistic? The only information I have so far is from census records:

1870 Census, Orange Twp., Meigs County, OH

John KOBLENTZ, b. about 1811 in Bavaria

Susan KOBLENTZ, wife, b. about 1816 in Bavaria

Catherine, daughter, b. about 1851 in Ohio

Phillip, son, b. about 1853 in Ohio

Mary, daughter, b. about 1855 in Ohio

Henry, son, b. 20 Sep 1858 in Ohio

Jacob, son, b. about 1861 in Ohio

William, son, b. about 1863 in Ohio
