I Isaac Conner of Washington Township in Montgomery County Iowa, being of Mature 
age and of Sound mind, make this my last will as follows.
 
That at my death, Should that occur before the death of my wife it is my will that 
all of my property both Real and personal Shall be Sold, and that after paying my 
funeral expenses and my just debts the remainder of the money from the proceed of 
said sale shall be put at interest for the Support of my widow.  She to receive The 
interest accruing from The Same for her support.  And at the death of my widow the 
Money so loaned out Shall be divided equally among my living heirs.
 
I hereby appoint and ______ my wife Cynthia A. Conner

and William T. Atwood Executors of this my last will.

accept of said will and the provisions thereof.

In the matter of the probate of the last will of Isaac Conner _______.
It is decided in this case that notice of the presentation of the said will for 
probate at the next turn of said court be given and send by publication of same 
notice in two weekly issues of the Red Oak Record and weekly newspaper ______ had 
in the city of Red Oak in said County and that the time for hearing of said matter 
and so given in said notice shall be the 12th day of June next And it is further 
______ that of the notice as here requested cannot be made and given prior to the 
12th day of June next Then the Clerk of said Court is authorized and empowered to 
set the said case down at a later date in said town that Services of notice can be 
made and had as ____ before ordered and that the notice so given shall be so 
modified to conform to said late date and the _____ of said clerk in any change so 
make Shall be _____.  I hold as the order of the court herein.

In the matter of the Estate of Isaac Conner, Deceased.

Come now William T. Atwood, Executor of the will, of said Estate, and report as his doing, 
herein, since the 28th day of June, 1883, the date of qualification.
 
By some casualty the first publication of notice of my publication as executor was not made 
till November 27th 1883 and was then in the Villisca Review.  I made public sale of such 
articles inventoried as would sell w all thereat and have since sold the balance as my Account 
Current will show.
 
The debts of said estate not including costs of administration and last sickness and burial are,

Cynthia Conner on note of $600- Isaac provided.
Narcissa Conner on note of 40.00 Isaac provided.
J.T. _____ on ____. 1.25
Eyes Bros. on note of 2.00
__ __  Lundy on note of 4.72
J.S. Bowes on note of 4.30
Taxes some $60.
 
Except the remainder shown in my account current, the assets of said Estate are lands some 202 
acres _____.  The income of this land is conceded by the heirs to the widow as support till 
sold.  A____ July last the Widow Cynthia Conner by _____ filed _____ to take under the will.
 
The notes of $150 shown in my account, are sale of land under will last November, to Daniel 
Sprague being two fractions? and about 12 acres.
